Bryn Anderson is a qualified ICAEW and Chartered Accountant with decades of dedicated business, brand and IP valuation experience, leading client engagements internationally across a range of sectors with particular expertise in the sports industry.
Bryn has considerable expertise in the valuation of branded business and brands for strategic purposes, and in leading strategic valuation assignments globally helping businesses of all types connect brands to the bottom line. Bryn advises on a wide range of related branding issues including sponsorship strategy, brand positioning, brand architecture optimization and portfolio analysis, brand extension and budget allocation, including a project for UK Government valuing one of their most high-profile international brand campaigns to support funding.
Bryn has completed many technical valuation projects in non-contentious matters to comply with international accounting standards (IFRS 3 and similar), transfer pricing and M&A, and in contentious Expert Witness proceedings, including a multi-million-dollar legal dispute between the Indonesian Tax Authority and a global brand owner.
Before joining Valuation Consulting Bryn was Senior Manager at KPMG Sports Advisory, the center of excellence within KPMG’s global network of firms to address the needs of clients active in the sports industry, with business and brand strategy, and valuation. Prior to KPMG, Bryn spent more than 10 years at Brand Finance a brand and business valuation firm where he led valuation assignments globally.
Bryn frequently contributes to print and broadcast media about brand appraisal, sports finance, strategy and valuation, and is a prolific author having written numerous whitepapers and articles about branded businesses and brand valuation.
