Valuation Research Group (VRG), a leading international provider of independent valuation, advisory, and value-related services announced that its partners Simon Dalgarno and Katy Lawrence from Australia-based Leadenhall will present a two day business valuation workshop and detailed case study for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand on June 10 and 11 in Sydney.
This intensive two day workshop is designed to provide delegates with a practical understanding of the application of business valuations. This fundamental workshop will introduce attendees to both the Capitalization of Future Maintainable Earnings (CFME) methodology and on the practical application of the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) methodology via a detailed practical workshop.
Simon Dalgarno has worked in the financial valuation industry for almost twenty years and is a CA BV Specialist and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Since joining the Leadenhall consulting practice in 1998 he has specialized in the valuation of businesses and intellectual property. Simon has extensive experience in the valuation of businesses and intangible assets.
Katy Lawrence has worked in the finance industry since 2008 and is a CA BV Specialist and has Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance & Investments. Since joining Leadenhall in 2014 Katy has assisted both small and large clients, providing valuation advice for financial reporting, taxation, transactional and dispute resolution purposes. Katy has lead the preparation of a number of Independent Experts Reports for ASX takeovers and has contributed to the presentation of a number of seminars on valuation theory and practice for legal and accounting professionals.
