VRG’s Chris Mellen to Speak at V20 2025 Summit and Conference
Mellen to present on valuing intangibles at third annual meeting
New York, NY (August 28, 2025) – Valuation Research Global (VRG), a full-service, independent, global valuation firm focusing exclusively on valuations and advisory services, announced today that Senior Managing Director Chris Mellen will present on valuing intangibles at the 2025 V20 Valuation Summit and Conference.
The third annual V20 event, which will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, brings together valuation professionals and organizations from around the world to discuss global valuation practices and policy. It will be hosted by the South African Institute of Valuers in association with the International Valuation Standard Council and the Assessors and Registered Valuers Foundation. The theme for this year’s event is “Valuation for Solidarity, Inclusion, and Sustainability: A Pathway to Global Harmony and Development.”
Mellen’s panel, titled “Valuing Intangibles in Today’s Economy,” will take place on Tuesday, September 16 from 2:00pm–3:30pm SAST. He will present alongside Mauro Bini, founder and director of W-Metrics and Finance Professor at Bocconi University in Italy; Christine Sawchuk, president and CEO of Canada’s CBV Institute; and Paul George Myson, head of department-fine art, antiques and heritage collections at The Valuator Group in South Africa.
Mellen will also provide the formal recap of day one at the beginning of the second day.
